Dear
Parishioners,
We are committed to a living faith proclaimed by Jesus
Christ our Lord and clearly set forth in our Mission
Statement.
MISSION
STATEMENT
We, the Roman Catholic parish family of Saint James,
because of our faith in Jesus Christ and our love for
one another, commit ourselves to serve God and each
other by:
Inviting people to worship with us Reaching out to the
less fortunate Educating ourselves and others in the
Catholic Christian faith Recognizing the gifts and
talents of everyone, respecting all individuals
committing ourselves to implement this vision of faith |
This mission statement is what we are all about here at
Saint James the Apostle Church. As we live the faith in
our every day lives, at school or the workplace, in our
home or away from home, we are defined by this statement
and directed by it. We know that this place as a safe
dwelling. We care for one another as any family would
but we have outreach in Christ's love for others outside
of our family or families. That makes us potent partners
with Christ in spreading the good news of His love.
As a parish family we have been blessed in so many ways,
with talents and energies and gifts of individual parish
members shared by all. Saint James the Apostle parish is
known for it's openness and welcome. The Holy Spirit
dwells within us as a community of faith. We must
continue to respond to that Spirit in every way. |
